History

Arden, Inc. was founded in September 1997. The current owner, along with two other partners   (technical trainers), purchased the Notes/Domino division from USConnect - who had been providing Notes/Domino consulting and training for several years in the Cincinnati area.

In 1998, the company moved into a larger facility to accommodate the demand for Notes/Domino technical training at the time.   A private contract with one of the world’s largest companies kept the business expanding at an exponential pace for the next three years.  Increased employment and a move to yet a larger space was part of this growth.

For the next five years the business was hard hit by the information technology industry slow down and the economic recession.   During those years, the company diversified into training on additional IBM software products (e.g. Websphere), it became an IBM education site (one of the few in the country), it began providing learning rooms for other companies (e.g. Peoplesoft) to conduct their training, and it combined forces with a consulting firm.

As the recession subsided, Arden found itself providing its facility for use for education more and more frequently.   In 2004, the University of Notre Dame began using the center for its executive masters of business administration program.  Software companies such as Google, BEA, SAP, and a host of others began using the learning facility for training its customers.

In the summer of 2006, Arden Corporation built out a new facility to better accommodate these customers.   It allowed for larger spaces, food services, and enhanced communications.

In October of 2007, Jeff Twardowski joined the organization to take over responsibility for building the consulting division.
